Tasting Notes
This takes a while to open on the nose, showing a floral overtone and hints of tobacco. It is just at the cusp of evolution. The fruit is pristine but has transitioned from boldness to gentleness, there is red plum, and some cassis. The tannins are by now a fine, firm web that lends a filigree structure. Notions of tobacco start coming through. This has a lovely structure suffused with sheer elegance.
