The red wine Spätburgunder Recher Herrenberg GG, vintage 2015 from the winery Jean Stodden – Das Rotweingut has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
The bouquet opens with raspberry and toasty aromas, joined by rosehip flavours and some blood orange. Soft almost velvety overture, the ripe acidity supports clear fruit notes of raspberry and cherry, the tannins are ripe and smooth, and it has a medium length.
