Tasting Notes
The garnet-tinged ruby is opaque with just a narrow garnet rim. Milk chocolate, crushed black- and blueberry set the tone on the aromatic nose. An overtone of dried cherry creeps in. The palate is full but immediately also mellow. There seems to be an extra elasticity in the tannins, they stretch but also support, making room for all the rich, flowing, dense fruit. The berry fruit carries a mere hint of raisin embedded in milk chocolate, always with that overtone of mint. Sinuous but powerful with still drying tannins.
