Toasty new wood and an intense ethereal herbal note, thyme, pepper, almost notes of Fernet Branca. On the palate the wine has an opulent fullness, silky tannins and sweet fruitiness. A meditation wine, not extremely complex, but a cosy good-natured and charming example.
