The red wine Mondeo Selección Especial Jumilla DO, vintage 2019 from the winery Juan Gil has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah from the region Murcia in Spain.
Dark carmine garnet, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. Delicate woody savouriness, preserved cherry, a hint of dried fig in the background, with a hint of nougat. Juicy, fine chocolate note, powerful, integrated tannins, mineral touch on the finish, delicately earthy dried plum in the aftertaste. (PM)
