Tasting from 30.05.2025: Ulrich Sautter

Dark berries, blueberry compote, elderberry, blackberry, also buttery tones, vanilla, wood. The palate has two poles: an almost creamy, soft base and a structural part dominated by fine-grained tannins and juiciness. The acidity remains rather discreet. The roundness from the wooden barrel characterises the finish. A Pinot Noir with the plump fruit of the vintage and a quite skilfully extracted, altogether rather carefully dosed tannin.
