Fragrant, also floral, white flowers, also ripe greengage, yellow plum. With air contact the aromas of slate and rock dust become increasingly intense. The palate is full-bodied and hearty, characterised by an archetypal lively Rheingau acidity. But there is also a lot of meat on the bone! Good length.
