A rich, sparkling ruby red with violet highlights. Opens with slightly smoky notes and a hint of sweat, followed by rich aromas of cassis and elderberries. The attack features plenty of juicy fruit—lots of blackberry and cassis—which unfolds with supple, dense tannins and a lovely smoothness, ending with another burst of fruit.
