A lovely hint of tobacco and a touch of smoke play around the lifted plum fruit, more air reinforces the notion of lifted, dark, ripe fruit, like blueberry and damson, alongside wet, autumnal oakleaf and a hint of miso. The palate has freshness and the fine tannins on the medium body are resolved. A beautiful tartness lends vivacity and underlines the purity of the fruit. Balanced, evolving and with much future still ahead.
