Clear, rich ruby, powerful right to the rim. A very clear and precise nose shows lots of juicy berry fruit, with blackberry and mulberry in particular, along with a slight hint of ginger in the background. Grippy tannins characterise the attack and finish, supporting an echo of fine ripe berry fruit. Feels slightly drying on the finish.
