Tasting Notes

91+
Tasting from 14.11.2025: Ulrich Sautter

Spicy, smoky nose with blackberries, elderberries, black cherries, juniper berries, wet earth and beetroot. A beautiful interplay of the two grape varieties on the palate, with Lemberger providing strength and acidity, and Zweigelt offering fruit and suppleness. Dry, straightforward, to serve with Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with roasted onions).
