Tasting Notes
Closed but hinting at complexity to come: elderberry, pine needle, juniper and wet slate. Combines juiciness, silky to fine-grained tannins and a fine-boned mineral base. Already lingers long - especially the mineral sensations - and will continue to unfold aromatically for years, if not decades.
More about the tastingWood, yeast, slate-spicy berry fruit, red currant. Powerful, determined by juice and nerve on a soft base, the strong alcohol is integrated. The grainy tannin intensifies on the finish without becoming astringent. Good potential.
