Tasting Notes

Tasting from 18.02.2020: Ulrich Sautter

There are aromas of blackcurrant in various degrees of ripeness, from redcurrant leaf to slightly jammy, along with graphite and herbs. It is oily and slightly sweet on the palate, and mealy, with mild tannins, and it is opulent and aromatically intense, charming and accessible, with good length. It is too powerful and too fruity for food, more of a fireside wine.
