Spicy wood, restrained varietal savouriness, rather yellow-fruity notes. In the mouth with taut acidity and powerful substance, the phenolics counteract the body sweetness (including the subtle melting) and wood. A Chardonnay prepared for core and substance, which still needs to integrate the wood maturation.
