The red wine Barolo DOCG Aculei, vintage 2017 from the winery La Biòca has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright pale red with a ruby touch. Ripe plum fruit adorns the nose, some Amarena cherry, fine leather savouriness and cedar in the background. Builds up in layers, shows fresh acidity and some coarse tannin, compact, juicy, with good drive on the finish.
