The red wine Barolo DOCG Aculei, vintage 2018 from the winery La Biòca has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, glittering ruby red lighter at the rim. On the nose, initially slight hints of geranium leaf, but also subtle aromas of pepper, roses, nutmeg and ripe raspberry. The wine is slightly vegetal on the palate and, although fresh, becomes quite loosely knit on the finish.
