Tasting from 10.10.2025: Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach

Initially characterised by a dark, herbal spiciness. With a little time, notes of blackberry and plum as well as blood orange are added. Strong, soft, flattering on the palate, subtle tannins, long-lasting.

This has a quite intense and slightly warming nose, with aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, also dried fruit nuances, dark toasty notes, coffee, and some allspice and black pepper. It is powerful and rather broad on the palate, again with dark fruit, a ripe acidity, fine but very vivid tannins, and a medium to long finish.
