The red wine Syrah de Vétroz AOC, vintage 2020 from the winery La Madeleine – André Fontannaz et filles has been rated in 2021 by Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Valais in Switzerland.
Open bouquet with notes of ripe dark forest berries, cassis confit and plum. Also hints of tobacco and dried essential kitchen herbs as well as a touch of pepper. Open structure on the palate, ripe acidity, beautiful fruit with sour cherry, plum, wild berries and some grapefruit. Fine tannins and savoury notes that linger into the long finish. Fresh representative.
