The red wine Syrah du Valais Reserve, vintage 2018 from the winery La Madeleine – André Fontannaz et filles has been rated in 2020 by Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Valais in Switzerland.
On the nose, notes of freshly brewed coffee, dark baked bread and triple fruit jam, cassis and a hint pf black pepper. Soft on the palate with ripe, fine-grained tannin, juicy acidity, beautiful pronounced cherry fruit and a long mineral finish.
