The red wine Grifo di Boldrino Colli del Trasimeno Rosso Riserva DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery La Querciolana has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Merlot from the region Umbria in Italy.
Bright ruby red with subtle brightening rim. On the nose strawberry confit, blood orange, mint, some raspberry scent, inviting. On the palate juicy, clear, with tight tannin, flinty fruit and very savoury course, shows neat structure, old school, with persistence.
