Deep, bright ruby with subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, rich berry fruit, blackberries and plums, a touch of molasses and then lots of oak. Ripe fruit on the palate, warm-hearted, somewhat evident alcohol, dominated by tannins on the finish.
