The red wine Gatta ci Cova Terre di Pisa DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Le Palaie has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright cherry red with copper accents on the rim. Delicately tart on the nose with notes of fresh herbs, thyme, tobacco and dark chocolate. Powerful on the tongue, full-bodied tannins envelop the palate, delicate roasted aromas emerge, with a delicate grapefruit finish.
