Rich ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Compact nose with rich notes of cassis and blackberryish, underpinned by dark chocolate. Substantial and dense in development, shows a lot of finely-meshed tannin, dark berryish fruit, in the finish still some clear wood notes, needs more time.
