The red wine Pavar Refosco dal Pedunclo Rosso Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Lis Fadis has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Rich ruby in colour with a black core. On the nose, aromas of smoke and liquorice, then elderberry, with some orange peel. Hearty, gripping tannins are evident on the palate with pronounced earthy components in the mid-palate, unfortunately quite rough on the finish, with significant wood noticeable on the aftertaste.
