The red wine Barolo Le Vigne Sibi et Paucis DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Luciano Sandrone has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Shiny, rich ruby. Very finely marked nose, firstly of fine licorice, some truffle, then evolving notes of fresh plum and dark, ripe cherry and hints of rosewood in the background. Firm, dense tannin on the palate, shows a lot of tension and seems almost youthfully fresh. Concentrated juicy fruit drives the substantial and complex finish.
