The red wine Glanzstück Spätburgunder, vintage 2017 from the winery Maibachfarm has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Distinct new oak, also some bay leaf, liquorice, roasted coffee, dried tomato, becoming berry-like with air contact. Powerful on the palate, fine-grained, homogeneous tannin presence, mild acidity, mineral base, lots of juiciness at the end after the extract effect fades.
