Deep, dark ruby-purple. Opens on the nose with notes of cigars, followed by ample dark cherry and blackberry, as well as a dash of liquorice. Full-bodied on the palate, developing well, lots of power and substance, but unfortunately a little bit bit too much of a good thing towards the end, becoming harsh and alcoholic.
