The white wine »DER« Chardonnay Landwein trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Markgräfler Winzer eG has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
Some citrus fruit, herbs, some wood, a little spontaneous fermentation, but not too demanding. Smooth setting, ripe acidity, a hint of phenolics, lots of juiciness, medium extract density, a rather good country wine, close to the conventional model.
