The red wine Côtes du Rhône AOC La Calade, vintage 2018 from the winery Mas de Libian has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Mourvèdre, Grenache from the region Côtes du Rhône in France.
On the nose are wild plum, griottes and just a little oak. Tight extract on the palate, which is taut, with gripping acidity and shimmering minerality. It is immensely dense, with lasting and focused juiciness. Great ageing potential.
