The red wine Masari Valle d'Agno Rosso Veneto IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Masari has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Merlot from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark luminous, very rich ruby red. On the nose initially there are notes of marzipan and oak, then opens on fine wild berry fruit, blackberry and milk chocolate. On the palate it shows with a profound course and great stony feel, tight tannin, plus fine saltiness and clear, floral, sweet fruit, swings along for a long time, currently still a bit grippy on the finish.
