Tasting Notes
Rich, impenetrable ruby purple; dense nose, lots of dark berry fruit, wild raspberries, elderberries, some licorice, fine spicy notes in the background, cloves; extremely rich and firm on the palate, spreads out powerfully, dense tannins, spreads out richly, profound and multi-layered, describes a beautiful arc, full pressure on the finish, unfortunately the high alcohol also comes through.
