It has a bright ruby red colour, with a delicate bright rim. On the nose it is a strong peppery spicy character, even showing animalistic components in places, then aromas of dried rose petal, plum and cherry. It is strongly expressive on the palate, with vivid and slightly juicy tannins, beautiful chocolaty components, and cherry compote. It has a long and powerful finish.
