The white wine Costarenas Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Superiore, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta Masone Mannu has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Vermentino from the region Sardegna in Italy.
Bright, elegant straw yellow. The nose is clearly flinty, mineral, seems to have grown on slate, then herbs, wax, pieces of dried banana, also a slight hint of sealing wax in the aftertaste. On the palate with a beautiful fruit texture and finesse-rich play, expands widely, salty, mineral, a welcome, individual style, with a delicately bitter finish.
