The red wine Spätburgunder trocken Badischer Landwein, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Max Geitlinger has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
Grapes mainly from the village of Feuerbach, aged 14 months without sulphur. Used barrels, sweet cherry, wild cherry, herbs, some grape sugar, artisanal, grippy tannins, very careful in quantity, homogeneous and very natural looking fruit. Seamlessly integrated acidity, juicy, elegant Spätburgunder. A very tight structure, but comes across quite discreetly, with a lot of juiciness.
