The franciacorta Noble Cuvée Brut Franciacorta DOCG from the winery Menmade Società Agricola Ca d'Or has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Lombardia in Italy.
This is a brilliant pale straw yellow colour, with golden reflections. It has a medium intensity on the nose, with notes of blood orange, white blossom, and a delicate aftertaste of gingerbread. It has a beautiful density on the palate, unfolding nicely. It is compact with good tension, and is a precise dry wine.
More about the tastingIntense, brilliant straw yellow with a persistent filigree mousse. Very fine nose, candied lemon zest, white flowers, a light bread crust aroma, graphite and wet stone, it is inviting and fragrant. On the palate precise and vivid, spreading out well with a cool fruit core, well-integrated mousse accompaniment, not too superficial, well integrated, juicy and balanced on the finish.
