The red wine Cerequio Riserva Barolo DOCG, vintage 2006 from the winery Michele Chiarlo has been rated in 2012 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich ruby colour with a slight garnet hue. Opens on the nose with a tapestry of fine savoury aromas, including cardamom, sandalwood and ground ginger, then lots of ripe blackberries and dark cherries. Ripe berries on the palate, unfolds with vivid, dense tannins, coated in fine texture.
