The red wine Cannubi Barolo DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Michele Chiarlo has been rated in 2014 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright garnet red colour. Notes of preserved cherries and a little plum confit on the nose, with truffle and leather in the background. Blossoms beautifully on the palate, with lots of ripe fruit, especially raspberry and liquorice, opens with vivid, gripping tannins, spreads across well, salty and long finish.
