The white wine La Pell Blanc Vinyes Místiques Costers del Segre DO, vintage 2014 from the winery Lagravera has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 95 Falstaff points.
Medium golden yellow in colour with silver reflections. Delicately smoky on the nose, with aromas of fine herbal spice, white peach, pineapple, mango, a hint of hazelnut and candied grapefruit zest. The juicy palate is light on its feet and lively, with fine acidity, subtle notes of green apple, and a citrus-salinity on the persistent finish. Incredibly fresh and easy to drink, the vines are 133 years old, the varieties unknown, and this is the essence of it.
