The red wine Fabelhaft Tinto Douro DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Niepoort has been rated in 2019 by Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional from the region Douro in Portugal.
It has a fruity and spicy bouquet with notes of dark berry, and liquorice, as well as some dark bread crust. It is densely woven on the palate, with lots of dried dark fruit, polished tannins and nice length.
