On the nose, notes of wild cherry and blueberry, a hint of dark chocolate and a touch of freshly cut apple. Intense on the palate, with fine-grained tannins, lots of drive, a touch of sweetness, good fruit, a hint of Marsala, full-bodied, but with a juicy finish.
