Dark and very rich ruby red. Open-hearted and slightly racy nose of chocolate and blackberries, black currant underpinned by elegant wood savouriness. Full-bodied and powerful on the palate, opens with a lot of texture, then a little too much grippy tannin in the background, slightly drying.
