The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Palazzo has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep, dark ruby red. On the nose, notes notes of mint, lavender and olives, along with hints of orange blossom, bay leaf and cold smoke. Very bold on the palate, with slowing tannins and clear use of wood, unfortunately somewhat bitter on the finish.
