The red wine Cannubi Barolo DOCG, vintage 2009 from the winery Paolo Scavino has been rated in 2013 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant, intense ruby colour with a slight garnet rim. Very intense and rich nose, full flavour of ripe raspberries, some pomegranate, rose petals, open and warm. Very supple on the palate, opens up with lots of plump fruit, but also dense, polished tannins, clear and juicy, spreads across nicely.
