The red wine Piccini, vintage 2019 from the winery Piccini has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points.
Very dark in colour. Intense berry fruit emanates from the glass, cooked blackcurrants, blackberries and elderberries, forest honey, Grafschafter Goldsaft syrup. On the palate, a high quantity of fine, mealy tannins, a smooth, viscous base, with a strong extract without the astringency, the acidity is well integrated, the finish round with nice texture and a light sweetness.
