The red wine Barbaresco DOCG Bricco di Treiso, vintage 2019 from the winery Pio Cesare has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby red colour with a flint core and a delicate brightening on the rim. Great, appealing and open nose, notes of fresh cinnamon powder, ripe raspberries, as well as some sealing wax and white pepper, savoury and inviting. Very elegant and polished on the palate, with tight tannins, nice salinity, lingers very long.
