Tasting Notes
Rich ruby with a delicate garnet rim. Very fragrant and surprisingly fresh nose of dewy rose, with pithy plum and some dark cherry. Full-bodied and straightforward on the palate, initially showing fine fruit, then savoury components, hints of fennel seed and leather, full-bodied drive on the finish.
More about the tastingBright, rich ruby garnet colour. Inviting and dense nose of dried roses, wild raspberries and orange peel, as well as liquorice and truffles. Hearty and grippy on the palate, dense tannins in many layers surrounded by sweet texture, earthy notes on the finish, dense substance, made for a long life.
