The red wine Hexagon VDT, vintage 2022 from the winery Pitzner has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Nebbiolo, Petit Verdot from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, medium ruby red colour. Still very restrained on the nose, slowly developing blackberry and black cherry flavours with air, also reminiscent of liquorice. Silky on the palate, with sweet fruit on tightly knit tannins, still needs some time here too, but is already showing a lot.
