The red wine Barolo DOCG Cicala, vintage 2017 from the winery Poderi Aldo Conterno has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby. Very intense and appealing nose, full of dried rose petals, blackberry and fine leather. A grandiose appearance on the palate, lots of concise fruit of raspberry and blackberry, dense tannins with a lot of texture, rich drive on the finish, with an aftertaste of pickled cherry.
