The red wine Casasilia Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Poggio al Sole has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Opens with light earthy tones, then purple and cherry. Blooms great on the palate, lots of ripe berry fruit, blackberry and raspberry, very dense, hearty tannin, fine texture, juicy.
