The red wine Val di Merse Chianti Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Poggio Salvi has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Colorino from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, brilliant ruby red. On the nose initially barley malt and freshly baked bread, then wild berries, as well as blackberry jelly and some wood. On the palate clear fruit and fine texture, soft on notion, showing compact tannin, coherent in itself.
